How to participate
There are several ways to participate in the 14th BIAsp, each with its own registration procedures and calls for submissions. See below for more details on each one.
Involvements – Preparatory meetings for the 14th BIAsp
The Envolvimentos will be online preparatory meetings with debates that deepen the central ideas of the exhibition. Architects and leaders from villages, terreiros, riversides and peripheries will be invited to jointly investigate architectures that promote mitigation and adaptation to climate change, discussing possible approaches to dealing with losses and damages, before and after disasters.
International Architecture and Urbanism Schools Competition
Works by undergraduate students, in line with the theme of the 14th BIAsp, representing Architecture and Urban Planning courses. The competition has been open for submissions since November 27th.
International Open Call for Exhibition and Activities
Works to be exhibited, presented, or developed in the form of projects or plans (constructed or not), experimental constructions and installations, audiovisuals, films, photographs, workshops, laboratories, performances, and other media.
International Open Call for the Debate Forum + SP Meeting
The Debate Forum + SP Meeting will host conferences by speakers, invited by the event’s curatorial team, and Thematic Sessions, selected from the international open call and composed of a proposing coordinator and up to four presenters of academic works.
Associated Programming
A circuit of exhibitions and other activities promoted by associated institutions, related to the thematic axes, distributed across Brazil, whether or not these institutions are directly connected to the field of architecture.

Open call for the Architecture Fair for Climate Adaptation
Fair with stands for products, services or projects from companies, schools, research institutes, among others, that work with the decarbonization of the construction production chain and the city.
